Back in time, these dogs are also known as coach dogs due primarily to an energetic, full of zip and on the go way of living. A Dalmatian dog stands 24 inches in height and almost 55 pounds. With this great structure, Dalmatians have also become carriage dogs use to be of assistance to carriage and horses.
A different level, of obedience is seen to a Dalmatian with rigorous and consistent training. Although their attention span is known to be very limited, added to the fact that they are somewhat hard to train, an owner or personal trainer should be someone with an excellent knowledge when it comes to dog training and obedience. According to studies, blue-eyed Dalmatians are known to be those that are vulnerable to deafness weigh against brown-eyed ones. Reasons for this are yet to be proven; however, it is deemed that having the blue-eyed Dalmatian is in itself a disqualification for the standard set.
